Discover the Rewards of starting a University Degree at Lakeland!
Course selection is the first official step you will make towards your degree.  It's an exciting process with lots of decisions to make, so let's get started!

01

What degree do you plan to pursue?

If you know what you want to do and where you want to go, proceed to Step 2.  If you're undecided, it's a great time to do a little more research.

03

Which courses will you take?

The program planners include required courses that you may need to take for certain routes. However, in most cases, you will also have electives. Learn more about your options here:

02

To which program and university do you plan to transfer?

Program planners are a tool used by universities to help you map out our degree. Your Lakeland College program planners include a general overview of the degree, pre-requisites, suggested courses, contact information, etc.  Please download and select your courses prior to your appointment using the plans provided below.

04

How do you build your schedule?

Once you have a shortlist of classes, it’s time to see how they work together on the timetable:

05

What are some other documents you should look through?

Below are some great documents that might be useful while selecting classes. There's admission requirements, course pre-requisites, advanced placement, and more.

06

What if you have other questions?

If you’ve gone through these steps, you have a great starting point and can finalize your course selection with the Academic Advisor during your appointment. See here for additional resources:
